The agreement

Flowing (flowing.to) is a service of [Kabarza legal name, e.g. Kabarza GmbH], [Street and number], [Postcode and town], Germany. These terms apply to everyone who uses the site, and creating an account means you accept them. If you do not, please do not create one.

We have kept the terms short and in plain language. Nothing in them limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

What Flowing is

Flowing is a library of interactive web components, each with the prompt that rebuilds it and an article that explains how it works, together with a prompt library, tutorials, and a curated collection of inspiration from around the web. Browsing is free and needs no account. An account lets you save items, vote on the roadmap, and request components.

The library changes constantly: components are added, revised, and sometimes retired. We may change or discontinue any part of the service, and will give account holders reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces what they rely on.

Your account

You need to be at least 16 to create an account. Give us a working email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. One person, one account. You can delete your account at any time from the account page, and that removes everything attached to it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where that is reasonable, and immediately where the breach is serious.

What you may do with our components and prompts

The components, prompts, articles, tutorials and recordings that Flowing publishes are ours. You may use any prompt, and anything you build from it, in your own projects, including commercial work for clients, without attribution and without limit on the number of projects.

What you may not do is republish the library itself: copying components, prompts, articles or recordings into another library, template pack, product, course or dataset, whether free or paid, or presenting them as your own. Showing a Flowing component on your own site as something you built with Flowing is fine; selling the prompt that built it is not.

Paid plans, when offered, come with their own terms that add to these.

Inspiration belongs to its makers

The inspiration section links to work by other people and studios, credited and linked to its source. It is there to collect ideas, not to copy. Those works stay under their creators' own licences, which you must respect, and Flowing claims no rights in them. If you are a creator and would like a reference changed or removed, write to hi@flowing.to and we will act promptly.

What you add

Roadmap requests, votes, and your profile picture are yours. By adding them you allow us to store and show them on Flowing, which is the point of adding them, and that allowance ends when you remove them or delete your account, except for requests that others have already voted on, which stay on the roadmap without your name.

Do not add anything you have no right to share, anything unlawful, or anything meant to harass or deceive. We may remove content that does, and we decide which requests go on the roadmap and which get built.

Using the site fairly

  • Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-download the library, or use it to train a model, without our written agreement. Search engines indexing the public pages are welcome.
  • Do not try to get around the limits of your plan, interfere with the service, probe its security, or use it to send unsolicited messages.
  • Do not use Flowing's name or branding in a way that suggests we endorse your work.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Flowing available and correct, but it is provided as it is. Components and prompts are references for your own work: it is up to you to test what you build with them, and we do not promise that any component suits a particular purpose, browser or project.

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under product liability law. For ordinary negligence we are liable only where we breach an obligation that the service depends on, and then only for the loss that was foreseeable when the agreement was made. The free service is provided without any further liability. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Flowing grows. The date at the top shows the current version. For a change that matters, we will email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use your account after that date means you accept it. If you do not, delete your account before then.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in still apply, and you may bring a claim in your own country's courts. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.

If a part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest stays in force. Questions go to hi@flowing.to. See also the privacy policy and the legal notice.
